yay. TGIF. (: happy day today although li jia wei lost to zhang yi ning. they are both real pros although zhang yi ning is pro-er (obviously). she won. go to my sister's blog for more details or rather, pictures. lol.
and the bronze medal match was exciting. haha. li jia wei lost again but i think she put on a great and impressive fight. 2-0 down but come back 2-2 and lost 4-2. singapore has potential.
watching the olympics gave me that adrenaline rush to play volleyball, badminton and to go swimming. haha. too bad floorball isn't a world-recognised sport or we could learn from these national players. i miss floorball and volleyball!!!! sentosa, anyone?
i can't believe xr and sh don't believe that i dropped my swimming cap, picked it up from the bottom of the pool and continued swimming and i came in third. i was primary three then. haha. the beautiful memories of me being so fast in the pool. haha. young talent. why in the world did i stop swimming? haha. because i hate the feeling of being breathless under water and coming up gasping for air and going under again because you haven't finish the lap. lol. and my mentality wasn't strong as a kid. i detest going for trainings and i pretended to be sick many times but my sis carried on. she is damn good, i tell you. her determination and her fearless attitude. and i was scared of my coach because he was so scary!!! he made us do squats and swim and swim and swim and swim and swim and squats again. warm up was like 10 laps. so tiring. haha. my speciality was free style and breast stroke. but now, i don't think i have any speciality left. lol. i love butterfly although it is tiring. i only can swim one lap continuously. swimming, anyone?
then i joined volleyball in sec school because there wasn't swimming in nchs. haha. sad case. volleyball is fun. you don't need stamina to play, just the skills, which explains my poor stamina. haha. no pt required. just loads of skills. i love spiking. haha. i play the center position. i LOVE it. sometimes, we did quick spikes and they look really cool. haha. we weren't a great team for sure but our friendship and the team work that we build up through out the years was commendable. our fighting spirit and optimism led us on to greater heights. not much higher, but we played our best. there were times when we were down, but we managed to push ourselves and played on despite the jeers from the crowd. i will always remember. the team. SHIHUI YUNLIN WENDY and the rest, i can't really remember. sorry! haha. but i remembered i was the only sec1. lol.
next comes floorball. i was wondering why didn't i joined volleyball when i came to vj. maybe i should have, since there is a lack of players. and probably, i can be in the team in volleyball. i may have a promising prospect there. haha. but a new sport is fun. thats all i can write for floorball. because i am not really good at it as compared to the previous two CCAs. lol. but we have great friends and team mates in floorball. the outings, study sessions. i love every minute of it. (: talking about floorball makes me want to play. floorball, anyone?
last but not least, promos is nearing. studying, anyone?
